The first step when you choose a Consort home is to choose your home site. Then choose your floorplan. At this time, you’ll be able to select all the structural features you’d like to include in your new home.
At this point in the process, you’ll sign your purchase agreement and submit your loan application.

For many, this is when your dream home starts to come to life! You’ll meet with our talented Design Coordinator to determine your color selections. You’ll also have the chance to meet with a low voltage wiring rep, and a sales agent to finalize all of your selections, options, and upgrades.

Once you’ve completed your design selections, you’ll have a pre-construction meeting with a Field Manager and Sales Manager. In this meeting you’ll vocalize all details of your home to ensure a cohesive building process.
Groundbreaking!While many things have been happening behind the scenes, thing are really moving now. Once groundbreaking takes place, you will see the hole being dug and foundation being poured. Framing is up next. You’ll meet with a Field Manager at your homesite for a pre-drywall meeting so you have a clear understanding of what’s next.
At this point in the process, the drywall goes up as well as the 1st coat of paint. Flooring is installed – wood, laminate, ceramic and/or carpet. Kitchen cabinets and countertop plus Bathroom vanities are placed and secured. Lighting and plumbing fixtures are also installed.
In this meeting, you’ll sit down with your Sales Manager in our Sales office to discuss final details of what to expect during Homeowner Review #3 & #4 and ensure all documentation is ready for closing day.
In these homeowner reviews, you’ll walk through your new home first with a Field Manager and second with the Field Manager. In this meeting you’ll review your New Home Presentation – Go over how to operate your new systems (ie HVAC, appliances, etc), walk through the home and look for imperfections and create a list Pre-Close – walk through the home to ensure all items were completed and ask any additional questions about the systems.
Move-in day is finally here! You’ll close on your home and gain possession. We are thrilled to be the first to welcome you home and welcome you into the Consort Home community!
