ST. LOUIS, February 6, 2014 – Capitalizing on the rejuvenated St. Louis housing market, three members of Consort Homes’ sales team have qualified for 2013 SMC Awards, based on their performance from January 1 to December 1. The award program is sponsored by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Home Builders Association of St. Louis and Eastern Missouri, and winners will be recognized at a ceremony to be held on February 26.
Eligible for awards in two categories, Sales Manager Erin Whitehead will be honored
for the total number of closed sales achieved by her staff in all 13 of Consort Homes’ communities during the specified period. She attributes the company’s success to “a combination of quality construction, flexibility and willingness to customize, and the outstanding customer service delivered by a sales team with years of experience.”
Whitehead also worked personally with homebuyers in three of the builder’s neighborhooduring the year and will receive a Gold Level award, acknowledging sales between $8 and $11.9 million. Carlton Glen, Consort’s flagship community in Wentzville, features two popular single-family design collections priced from the $170’s to $400’s. At fashionable Schoettler Valley in Chesterfield, Whitehead reports that only two of the half-acre-plus homesites remain for purchase, and plans call for construction of market homes to begin on both sites shortly.
In March, Consort will introduce a brand-new lineup of home designs at Wilmer Valley in Wentzville, and Whitehead will transfer responsibility for this community to Sherry Conroy, who earned a 2013 Silver Award for sales totaling between $4 and $7.9 million.
Two of Conroy’s neighborhoods – Bella Vista in St. Peters and Charlestowne in North St. Charles – are on the verge of close-out, but she emphasizes that an excellent selection of homesites is still available at Misty Hollow in North St. Louis County, where prices range from the $150’s to $200’s. “With the market opening up, we’ve welcomed a lot of savvy first-time homebuyers who understand the value of a well-built, energy-efficient home,” Conroy noted.
Although she joined the Consort sales team several weeks into 2013, veteran consultant Jean Ewell closed a sufficient number of sales to qualify her for a Bronze Award, which represents a total up to $3.9 million. Crediting the builder’s “fabulous display models” for their instant appeal, Ewell assists customers in two St. Charles County neighborhoods – multi-product Countryshire, from the $150’s to $400’s, and upscale Avalon, from the $260’s to $400’s.
